Robert Riegert and Timothy Crenshaw have been together since May 2003 and were married December 29, 2017. Robert (Bob) Riegert grew up in upstate New York on a dairy farm. Retired from the United States Air Force (USAF) after 20 years as a jet engine technician in April 2000 as an E-7. He was station in Germany, South Korea and multiple locations across the United States. While in the USAF Bob earned The Secretary of Defense Award for Productivity Excellence for a suggestion that save over $70M, first year tangible savings in Jan1994. After retirement he worked in sales for a small company in Fort Wayne, Indiana developing repairs kit for jet engines, becoming the top salesperson in his first year with $45 Million dollars in sales in the first year. Bob then joined Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma in 2003, as an Equipment Specialist for the F110 family of aircraft engines that power the F16, F-15, B-1, B-2 and KC-135R aircraft. Bob was selected to the Director of Propulsion staff, Office of Transformation, Pentagon and then transferred to Hill AFB, Utah as the Logistic Lead at the Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE), Acting Director for the ACE for two years before becoming the Squadron Director of the 309 Maintenance Support Squadron with 300 military, civilian, and contracted personnel positions is support of all military aircraft and missile overhaul facilities associated with the Overhaul Complex. Bob retired from Civil Service in 2018 and moved to a 55+ community on the West Coast of Florida. In 2019, Bob became the Court appointed guardian to his cousin Russell who was a first responder to the 911 World Trade Center Event, who was having cognitive issues that eventually advanced to Alzheimer’s. Russell passed in 2024. Bob has had an active eBay storefront since 2003. Bob earned a Master of Science Degree, Aviation Administration, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant Oklahoma, 2005. Timothy (Tim) Crenshaw grew up in Bakersfield; CA. Tim’s career has been customer service focused over the years. He worked as a Customer Service Representative for Williams-Sanoma for 20 years. Tim also worked as a Credit Union cashier, Pottery Barn Sales Representative, Mail Order prescription refill packaging specialist, A clerk for the United States Post Office, Antique and craft mall manager and his favorite job: pushing wheelchairs for passengers at Pittsburgh Airport. While we lived in Florida, Tim partnered with a local Probate Attorney and Real Estate Agent to clean out and liquidate house contents for people that transitioned to Assisted Living, relocated or passed. Any proceeds were turned over to the Probate Attorney for disbursement. Tim used his knowledge of current trends, marketplace, and donations locations to prepare the house for showing within the agreed target date.
